With this shoot I wanted to make a statement. I see people talking about group shoots, and all the buzz that goes around them. I never participated in them, and if I do, it's only if I have total control. This was my example of that. 12 subjects, (3 of which dropped out.) and 1 photographer, and 1 assistant (Jonathan).
I planned it all myself. I left the makeup/hair/clothing to the subjects. I only approved of what they chose. Angela was kind enough to provide me with her flash system, and my friend Jesse (bless her) lent me a lens wide enough to be able to shoot these shots.
I like to be in control, and I don't like to share.
That was my goal with this shoot. All of the girls here pretty much answered my call without a fuss, so in the course of 2 days I had found pretty much everything that manifested it. For the girls I had to replace, those that I asked last minute also answered the call. Like Annissa who agreed to be part of it 1 am the day of the shoot haha.
Anyways this is the first shot. Thanks to everyone involved.
