I spent a lot of time while growing up traveling from town to town hitting up auction sales, and surrounded by antiques. My Grandfather was a fiend for hitting up such things, and I was usually in tow. Every time I hit Sask I'm always reminded of that. Which probably explains my affinity for old stuff, and weird places, so coming back from Sask I stopped at an antique place and found a few of these dolls hanging out.

The dolls were pretty much posed perfectly as is, so shooting them was super easy, and provided a neat atmosphere. Also, I think I get a kick out of cool old dolls thanks to Nicole Sunday.
